June 2023 Yard Talk: Summer Solstice Horticultural Therapy

June 28 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

In honor of the arrival of summer, we will be pairing ourselves with a plant partner of our choice, learning to observe in a present, mindful sense with a quiet meditation, as well as a drawing, journaling, and printmaking exercise with our chosen plant material.

In this workshop, led by Kate Irvine, we will discuss plant appreciation versus plant blindness, and work to make ourselves more aware of the flourishing green world around us. Attendees will be making prints with paint and brushes.
