Plant Procurement
Streamline your project using Redbud as your one location for sourcing native plants. Redbud has relationships with quality wholesale nurseries and growers and can source larger orders of native plants for your specific project. We can procure plants in sizes from flats of 50 plugs to trees in 20 gallon containers. We can source all material and have it in the nursery for pick up by you or your contractor.

Tree Assessment
This work is performed by ISA certified arborist, Julie Snell. A site visit to visually inspect all existing trees in the project area and collect tree data will lead to creation of a site diagram with compiled tree information data and additional recommendations. TEND can prepare Landscape and Tree Preservation Plans per Philadelphia City Planning Commission (PCPC) requirements issued in March, 2023.

Invasive Species Management Guide
TEND will perform a site visit during the growing season to be able to see all foliage of existing plants in the project area. TEND will then create a site diagram keyed to a compiled list of all invasive plants observed with control information and additional recommendations.

Landscape Maintenance Guide and Calendar
TEND will prepare an illustrated landscape maintenance manual suitable and scaled to your project. This manual can be for a new project designed by TEND or others, or the manual can be for an existing landscape. The guide will include detailed sustainable landscape management operations to include tree and shrub pruning, seasonal cutbacks, plant divisions and transplants, weeding and mulching as well as a maintenance calendar, sample maintenance log and illustrated, annotated plant list detailing specific instructions for each plant species.

Bidding & Construction Observation
After you have a final design for your project, TEND can assist in helping you find local, reputable and qualified installation contractors and help you solicit bids for the project. Upon return of the bids, TEND will evaluate the estimates, share our recommendations with you and discuss the estimate with the contractor should any questions arise. Upon contractor selection and approval of installation cost, TEND can provide support to assist with plant procurement, installation scheduling, and other coordination as necessary. Observation during installation will focus on adherence to design documents..
